Subprime Crisis; Democrats want too much and too few Republicans want
It's the same thing Olé Olé even bites and sound finger to see who can solve the mortgage crisis plaguing American homeowners. During an election year it is more difficult than usual to separate Malarkey sincerity of politicians on this issue. Each side is flaking and fooled or Running and hiding the real issues facing America directly resulting from the subprime crisis. Let both sides of the nave. First a warning, I'm fiscally conservative, but I try to be impartial in this room, shoot me a line if I miss the mark.
Republicans – is a losing issue for Republicans, they know the Democrats and "know. Logically, if we were to simplify the mortgage crisis to the ridiculous, there's really only two strategies that the government can attack. Helping people who are on the verge of losing their home through the direct involvement of government, or helping companies holding loans so they can be healthy and help the people. Obviously the Republicans are in favor of the latter, and guess what strategy "plays" better on the evening news.
Any action that the Republicans are doing to help the "Big Business" is filled with cries of cronyism from the left and well-being of societies. Truth be told, if the Republicans had their way, I do not doubt that the good old boys on the golf course would be the first beneficiaries a moral bond. As political pressure mounts in the media and left to do something, Bush and company have been forced to create a "Symbol" programs that help homeowners select few. Doing this gives the Republicans something to smile and greet the cameras around and is analogous to putting a plaster on a gun shot wound.
Commenting on Bush's latest initiative to help the owners of the White House spokesman Dana Perino said: "This is not a panacea that will solve all the problems in housing, but it will help some additional people stay in their homes, and it is something the president wants to see "
Excuse me, did you say "this is not a miracle solution? So what you are saying is that we are just shooting bullets that do little more common to annoying werewolf? Hello McFly, we need silver bullets, This monster is becoming stronger every day! Take the time and valuable resources for programs inact inept removed from the time that we could use to solve problems with "quick fix." ("Hello McFly", from the movie Back to the Future, one of my favorites.)
Democrats – If we could get Ben Affleck to make the camera and the Democrats would make it another hit movie. Demigoding this issue will not solve it faster than the creation of programs token. Democrats are furious about moving money from taxpayers to the population, at taxpayer expense consolidate their base to vote. From what I've seen every congressman and woman seem to have their own plan of how to "save the poor people" who have been cheated by unscrupulous banks badly. They all smack of pandering that rewards irresponsible owners for bad behavior through a myriad of government agencies.
The second part of their plan is to attach the banking sector with a new list of regulations that is the size of a limited repertoire of how they lend money. This will ready to fall sharply, increase taxes on the self and create a field "day" for trial lawyers. History has proven time and again that when the government regulates the banks in the banking sector just take their toys and go home. The mortgage industry has figurtively placed his hand on a hot stove flame, telling them not to do it again is not necessary. However, Democrats in the defense, at least they have a plan.
We need our leaders is for them to be leaders. Each side has a valid argument and is either promoting extreme version of it for the love of negotiation or dragging their feet. Meanwhile people are losing their homes and businesses fail to left and right, pun intended. The dollar is at its lowest, we hope and trust for mortgage-backed securities continues to threaten future loans. Each side of the aisle needs to put aside partisan bickering and come together with a plan that helps businesses and homeowners, NOW.
