Who do I pay my mortgage when GMAC and Wells Fargo say they bought my loan. First payment due 10/01/2007???
Purchased my first home in mid-August and the first payment is due 01/10/2007. The original creditor has sold and now two companies say they have. Both have the same information and the two that I need to pay them when I called everyone. I do not want to be late and I can not afford both. Anyone have a suggestion of what I do?
Contact the original lender and see if they can find a mortgage that has actually been transferred.
